Hello and Welcome to Leash Aggression Training!
I’m Junior, and I started this blog to help dog owners who are currently struggling with living with a leash reactive dog.
Do you have a dog that is always on high alert on your walks? A dog that constantly barks and lunges at dogs/people/cats/kids? Do you dread to take your dog out for walks because of how they behave? How they pull everywhere and end up dragging you around?
Well, you are in the right place!
I started out this blog with a simple vision, to help dog owners who struggle with reactive dogs. I want this to be a resource for people constantly having to deal with the embarrassment this issue can bring. You can find a lot of information on here ranging from Youtube videos I found useful, to great reads that will help and of course the article I write.
Behind The Blog…
If you haven’t noticed already, my name is Junior. I am currently studying dog behaviour and law to become a dog behaviourist…but that’s not the story we want to hear.
The blog? It all started with my rescue, Jasper. I rescued him toward the beginning of the year. It all seemed like a match made in heaven…until I discovered his leash reactivity.
As a new dogfather, the frustration was horrible, let alone the embarrassment, so when I say I understand your pain, I really do!
That’s why I created this blog, because there was so much information I didn’t know where to start and I didn’t know who to trust.
I want this to be a resource for people constantly having to deal with the embarrassment this issue can bring.
I was once in your shoes too and struggled to the point of frustration when it came to walking Jasper, however, by understanding the issue, it became 10x easier to overcome it.
